Open Balance is an all-in-one management account made for business owners
Dealing with banking and financial services is an essential part of running a business, but today’s banking product aren’t always designed around the needs of independent business owners. Open balance allows merchants to manage their money from the same place they run their business.
My Role
I work closely with product and engineering partner to define the product strategy and with UX leadership to define and execute the UX strategy
My role on this project requires deep system thinking, spans across multiple dominos and teams with open - Capital, Payment, risk - and external partnersICICI and Yes bank.
I also work with a Head of design and Marketing Head to maintain the visual identity for the product.
What does Balance do?
Balance consolidates all the money a business owner makes, tracks their payments and allows them to get faster access to their funds. Merchants also have the option to sign up for a physical card for spending online and making in-store-purchase when they spend.
